A quiet week, photographically speaking. Back at work after the trip to France. But the walks on the beach continued, and my friend Eri and I went to Hostal Maruja for lunch one day. It was her first visit there.

First, a cycling photo. A cat in Verdegás seeking shade, oblivious to the revolutionary message (“struggle”):

Morning relaxation on the same beach:

My daughter is moving to Barcelona for a new job, and Mochi is joining her there. So this was the last week of his residence in our home. He will come back for visits from time to time, but his home will now be in Barcelona. I am a bit sad to see him leave:

We have bought a small backyard pool for Mochi now that he has come to like the water:

Staying with the canine theme, one of the pleasures of having a beer at the beach bar 100 Montaditos is to watch the dogs and people walking by:

Another early morning beach scene with nice sky:

A nice chance encounter. While buying something in the centre on my way home from work, I ran into my colleague Inge and her little dog:

On Friday, Eri and I drove to Hostal Maruja, her first visit there. Because we went early (in Spain, the peak hour for lunch is around 2:30 p.m., we went at 1:30), we got one of the best tables, as close to the water as possible. Eri enjoyed the scene very much:

She also enjoyed the food very much, here fried anchovies:

Eri is often on the phone, not because she is surfing but with an ailing mother in Greece and her children living in the UK, she is often called about some family matter:

Back to cycling. Two cats in an Aigues window:

A few km later, a woman walking her little dog in Busot. You have to be in good shape to live in these villages:

I finish with some more beach scenes, captured on my way home from 100 Montaditos on Sunday afternoon. The place is a couple km from my house, and I always take the bicycle to go there, as parking is horrendously difficult to find on a nice day. This also allows me to stop and take pictures whenever I want. The beach was quite busy:

Being somewhat afraid of heights, this is an activity I have never tried and never will:

Some beach volley action:
