I bought a new lens for my Fuji X camera, a nice and compact f2/35mm. So this week I was testing it. Some people test a new lens by photographing a newspaper pinned to a well or some such, but that is not for me. I simply go out and take pictures, preferably including some at the maximum aperture–every lens looks OK at f8, it is at f2 that one can see the quality (or lack of it). So, here are my test shots, all taken during meanderings around Alicante, and all except no. 3 taken with the new lens.
