A couple of pictures from the office start us off this week, but mainly the week’s pictures were taken on Saturday.

A couple of people had to move office this week, which provided an opportunity for a recycling orgy:

On Saturday morning, my daughter participated in a vegetarian cooking workshop at a health food shop in San Juan, a suburb of Alicante:

While I waited for my daughter, I took a walk around San Juan’s food market. It was early afternoon, and things were quiet. Here is the indoor part of the market, where meat and fish is sold. Stallholders and customers are relaxing in the café:

In the surrounding streets, fruit and vegetables are sold. I spotted this boy kicking a ball around, with considerable skill:

When he realised I was there with the camera, he immediately posed:

But I asked him to ignore me and just continue what he was doing:

Near our home there is a cluster of 3-4 modest restaurants where you can have a good lunch for €8, consisting of a first and second course, a drink, dessert and coffee. It is October, and the weather is just perfect. A nice way to have lunch on a Saturday afternoon:
