Week 43: Boabab, Aigues, Agost, working group meetings

After my trip to Poland, another week of mainly work and cycling. At work, we were hosting some important meetings with our stakeholders from all over the EU. In normal times, these meetings would have been held in Brussels, but these are not normal times, so they were held on Zoom.

On Sunday, my wife was playing in a golf tournament somewhere, so my daughter and I went for lunch at one of our favourite places in the area, an African restaurant called Baobab:

One of the appetisers was this green tomato stuffed with goat cheese:

Then a platter of yucca, vegetable rolls and krako:

Main dish was a Congolese fish dish called saka saka, totally delicious:

I continued my daily cycling to places like Aigües and Agost. On one of those rides, I liked these fluffy clouds:

On Tuesday we started three days of meetings at the office. I attended them from my own office. Here is Francisco, one of my collaborators, presenting:

One of my favourite people, Linda from the Latvian Ministry of Culture. I would have loved to have her here in person and enjoy a beer/glass of wine together (something we usually do), but had to settle for this:

Back to more pleasant pursuits, enjoying the morning along the beach:

Even in October, the beach is cleaned early every morning:

On Saturday morning, while taking my Coke break in Aigües, I was entertained by watching new pews being delivered to the church:

And the next day, on the main square of Agost, not much was going on, certainly nothing like the action depicted on the sign:
