Week 09: Winter in NL

In week 9 we had a blast of winter here in the Netherlands–most unusual, especially this late in the winter.

This is what my pool looked like:

Driving the children to school one morning, I was stuck in traffic, but without getting out of the car, I could enjoy this glorious sunrise:

Then, at my daughter’s school, preparations for snowball battles were in full swing:

Some boys were more ambitious than others:
