I was busy at work, and so all but the first picture were actually taken on Saturday. If there is a theme, I guess it must be cats.<\/p>\n<p><strong>20_1<\/strong><br \/>\nOne of the stray cats on the golf course:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2013\/20_1.jpg\" alt=\"L1009650\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>20_2<\/strong><br \/>\nOn Saturday afternoon I drove to the fishing harbour in El Campello to go for a walk and photograph some threatening clouds that were rolling in. This is a small-scale operation, as is evident from the size of these boats:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2013\/20_2.jpg\" alt=\"L1009680\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>20_3<\/strong><br \/>\nThe entrance to the fish auction house, where every day except Sunday you can buy freshly caught fish:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2013\/20_3.jpg\" alt=\"L1009681\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>20_4<\/strong><br \/>\nThe harbour has a large cat population:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2013\/20_4.jpg\" alt=\"L1009676\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>20_5<\/strong><br \/>\nPeople feed the cats, there is shelter when it rains, so it is not a bad place for them:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2013\/20_5.jpg\" alt=\"L1009679\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>20_6<\/strong><br \/>\nThese are the clouds I had come to photograph:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2013\/20_6.jpg\" alt=\"L1009669\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>20_7<\/strong><br \/>\nSame cloudscape, now looking towards the beach:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2013\/20_7.jpg\" alt=\"L1009670\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>20_8<\/strong><br \/>\nI decided to drive up into the mountains to see if the clouds looked more interesting there. And they did, I think:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2013\/20_8.jpg\" alt=\"L1009659\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>20_9<\/strong><br \/>\nI cycle along this road every weekend, and a couple of weeks ago I noticed this roadside memorial. It is common to see bunches of flowers or small crosses at spots where someone has died in a traffic accident. But this particular memorial is more elaborate than most:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2013\/20_9.jpg\" alt=\"L1009668\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>20_10<\/strong><br \/>\nBack home, I photographed my whiskey altar in the living room, illuminated by the setting sun. Right now, there is only one whiskey in it, Penderyn from Wales. The other bottles are Evolution vodka from Poland and the magnificent Luis Felipe brandy from Andaluc\u00c3\u00ada:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2013\/20_10.jpg\" alt=\"L1009685\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>20_11<\/strong><br \/>\nLater Saturday night, we went to a party.
