\nOn Wednesday evening, Clare, the UK marketing manager, came to give some training to our salespeople. In the evening we went out for dinner, and I snapped this informal, available-light portrait at a tapas restaurant in Eindhoven:

\nOn Thursday, while driving home from work, I got a call from my wife instructing me to proceed to the house of some English friends in Hilversum, where an impromptu garden party was in progress. These two guys were allegedly playing songs from the Beatles songbook:

\nFinally, Saturday morning I woke up to something that looked like a proper summer day. So I took my motorcycle and went for a ride to small town near Zwolle where I had heard there was a good camera shop. The shop was OK, but as often with motorcycle trips, the ride was more important than the destination. I drove on country roads like this one:

\nThis sign caught my eye. I love smoked eel. It is commonly sold in touristy seaside places, but this was a village that was not touristy at all:
