{"id":66,"date":"2007-01-25T14:08:47","date_gmt":"2007-01-25T13:08:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fotocycle.dk:80\/paws\/?page_id=66"},"modified":"2007-01-25T14:10:13","modified_gmt":"2007-01-25T13:10:13","slug":"week-02-at-home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.fotocycle.dk\/paws\/?page_id=66","title":{"rendered":"Week 02: At home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week&#8217;s images have a couple of themes: they are all taken in the town where I live, and in three of them light and shadow are the main elements.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>main image<\/strong> is just a snap from home on one sunny morning, using an antique rocking horse my wife picked up at a flea market in Belgium a few years ago as the vehicle for picturing the morning sunlight:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2007\/2.jpg\" alt=\"8747\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nThe alternates<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>The next two pictures are from a walk with my dog. First, again light and shadow:<br \/>\n<em>Alternate 1:<\/em><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2007\/2alt1.jpg\" alt=\"8755\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Someone disposed of their Christmas tree in a most un-Dutch, antisocial manner:<br \/>\n<em>Alternate 2:<\/em><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2007\/2alt2.jpg\" alt=\"8744\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The next three are from the centre of Almere. It is a pretty non-descript town, only 30 years old, but already with more than 180 000 inhabitants. In a part of town called Almere Haven, there is an &#8220;art street&#8221;, with several galleries, arts supply shops etc. One gallery painted a pedestrian crossing across the canal, and put a dining table in the water. The town hall bureaucrats, being the killjoys they are, want the gallery to remove it.<br \/>\n<em>Alternate 3:<\/em><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2007\/2alt3.jpg\" alt=\"8766\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 4:<\/em><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2007\/2alt4.jpg\" alt=\"8772\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The death of James Brown has apparently touched people in this Dutch town:<br \/>\n<em>Alternate 5:<\/em><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2007\/2alt5.jpg\" alt=\"8775\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And finally, another &#8220;light&#8221; image, or rather reflections; also taken while walking my dog:<br \/>\n<em>Alternate 6:<\/em><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2007\/2alt6.jpg\" alt=\"8745\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week&#8217;s images have a couple of themes: they are all taken in the town where I live, and in three of them light and shadow are the main elements.
