\nWhile walking around Alicante, I came across this rather optimistic sign (or pessimistic, as it implies that exiting the crisis is as likely as winning the lottery…):

\nFriday evening, the Bacchus wine club held its holiday dinner at El Portal restaurant in the centre of Alicante:

\nThe main reason for going to Bath was of course to visit my son, and to see the house he shares with 3 other students this year. The house was quite good, and a friendly neighbourhood pub, the Golden Fleece, is located less than 100 metres away. We went there to watch a football match:

\nMy son is studying Aerospace Engineering and has a busy class schedule this semester:
