Also a few images from walking the dog. In other words, one of my &#8220;slices of life&#8221; weeks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>38_1<\/strong><br \/>\nWindow cleaning at the local all-you-can-eat Chinese restaurant:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2011\/38_1.jpg\" alt=\"DSF0599\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>38_2<\/strong><br \/>\nOn Tuesday a colleague invited me for lunch at what he promised would be a unique type of place. It turned out to be an old-style beach resort about 25 km south of the office. The coast in that area is heavily built up with hotels and apartment buildings, but there is a stretch of a few km where time seems to have stood still since the 1960s. This is the back terrace of the restaurant:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2011\/38_2.jpg\" alt=\"DSF0602\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>38_3<\/strong><br \/>\nYou practically eat on the beach:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2011\/38_3.jpg\" alt=\"DSF0606\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>38_4<\/strong><br \/>\nTable conversation:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2011\/38_4.jpg\" alt=\"DSF0613\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>38_5<\/strong><br \/>\nEnjoying the beach by herself. This beach is a picture of tranquility:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2011\/38_5.jpg\" alt=\"DSF0615\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>38_6<\/strong><br \/>\nOf course, as with any restaurant, the food is the most important thing. And it was excellent tapas-type food. Here is an example, <em>patatas bravas<\/em>. The study was presented to us this week at an event in Chamber.
