First, my friend Eri during one of our periodic lunches:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2025\/38_11.jpg\" alt=\"DSF1701\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>38_12<\/strong><br \/>\nAnd then Val\u00c3\u00a9rie from the European Commission&#8217;s Joint Research Centre in Brussels who visited us to start work on a project we will be doing together:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2025\/38_12.jpg\" alt=\"DSF1703\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>38_13<\/strong><br \/>\nWe had lunch with our visitors:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2025\/38_13.jpg\" alt=\"R002001\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>38_14<\/strong><br \/>\nThe WeRead book club had its monthly meeting one evening. The book of the month was &#8220;Educated&#8221; by Tara Westover, and as usual, I took a photo of the books on the table.
