In Aigues, a crafts market was being set up on the square:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2025\/24_1.jpg\" alt=\"1040931\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>24_2<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2025\/24_2.jpg\" alt=\"1040929\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>24_3<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2025\/24_3.jpg\" alt=\"1040926\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>24_4<\/strong><br \/>\nAn early customer:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2025\/24_4.jpg\" alt=\"1040933\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>24_5<\/strong><br \/>\nI cycled on to Busot and took a break to eat my banana in one of my usual spots:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2025\/24_5.jpg\" alt=\"1040935\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>24_6<\/strong><br \/>\nThen on to Jijona. Between Busot and Jijona there is a large solar power plant, which I find beautiful:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2025\/24_6.jpg\" alt=\"1040936\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>24_7<\/strong><br \/>\nThat afternoon, we went to our friends Eliot and Assumpta for a quiet lunch. Eliot had turned 66 earlier in the week, so my wife made him a belated birthday cake:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2025\/24_7.jpg\" alt=\"DSF0891\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>24_8<\/strong><br \/>\nA rare use of the self-timer on my camera:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2025\/24_8.jpg\" alt=\"DSF0896\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>24_9<\/strong><br \/>\nSince Eliot is Argentine, seared beef is always a prominent part of the meal when we visit him:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2025\/24_9.jpg\" alt=\"DSF0885\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>24_10<\/strong><br \/>\nAfter lunch, everyone settled in for a semi-siesta in front of the TV:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2025\/24_10.jpg\" alt=\"DSF0898\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>24_11<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2025\/24_11.jpg\" alt=\"DSF0899\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>24_12<\/strong><br \/>\nOn Monday I was getting together with the visiting friends from Australia, Geoff and Bron, to take them to Hostal Maruja, a place which ordinary tourists never get to visit. I was slightly concerned when I saw the dark clouds during the morning walk:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2025\/24_12.jpg\" alt=\"DSF0901\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>24_13<\/strong><br \/>\nBut by lunchtime it was bright sunshine.
