A week of work and pleasure. In the latter category were my morning walks with Mochi, lunch with Eri in a restaurant near the beach at Urbanova, and the monthly meeting of our book club. And of course cycling.<\/p>\n

\nOn Monday Eri and I went for one of our regular lunches, this time choosing a restaurant called Capricho de Raquel, on the beach just 10 minutes from the office. While we were talking and waiting for our food, I took advantage of the range of Eri’s expressions:

\nAfterwards, we went for a short walk on the beach promenade before driving back to the office:

\nOur walks often end at the local bakery where I buy a still warm baguette for breakfast. Mochi is not allowed inside, so I tie him to a post just outside the entrance:

\nLater in the week, we had our monthly meeting of the WeRead book club. The book of February had been selected by me, “The Forbidden Notebook<\/a>” by Cuban-Italian writer Alba de C\u00c3\u00a9spedes, a fantastic piece of literature describing the life of an Italian woman in the immediate post-war years. Per tradition, we photographed the books in the versions present at the meeting, in this case English, Spanish and German (we have no Italians among us, so nobody brought the original Italian version):
