It was a busy week, and most of the photos are of people around me, and a few taken during my bike rides.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6_1<\/strong><br \/>\nWe had a department meeting during the week, and we always start these meetings with the introduction of newcomers. This time we had several, each of whom introduced themselves briefly, starting with Ber\u00c3\u00a9ng\u00c3\u00a8re from France:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2023\/6_1.jpg\" alt=\"1060947\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>6_2<\/strong><br \/>\nA new Italian colleague, Filippo:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2023\/6_2.jpg\" alt=\"1060948\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>6_3<\/strong><br \/>\nAnd Harrie, originally from the Netherlands:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2023\/6_3.jpg\" alt=\"1060946\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>6_4<\/strong><br \/>\nAnother Italian newcomer, Anthony:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2023\/6_4.jpg\" alt=\"1060949\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>6_5<\/strong><br \/>\nThen we went on with the meeting, with Ana presenting some communications results:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2023\/6_5.jpg\" alt=\"1060950\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>6_6<\/strong><br \/>\nBack to my morning bike rides, another gorgeous sunrise:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2023\/6_6.jpg\" alt=\"1030067\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>6_7<\/strong><br \/>\nI am normally in a hurry to finish my ride on weekdays, but when I saw this woman with her dog walking in my direction, I just had to wait:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2023\/6_7.jpg\" alt=\"1030069\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>6_8<\/strong><br \/>\nLooking away from the sunrise revealed a rather blustery and cold morning:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2023\/6_8.jpg\" alt=\"1030070\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>6_9<\/strong><br \/>\nWe have an art club at the office, called WeArt, of which I am the treasurer. On Thursday we had the annual general meeting, as required by the rules for social clubs. We have around 40 members, but as is normal in these clubs, only a few showed up for the meeting, the dedicated hard core:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2023\/6_9.jpg\" alt=\"1060958\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>6_10<\/strong><br \/>\nThe president of the club, Kari (the only extrovert Finn I have ever met), goes through the agenda:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2023\/6_10.jpg\" alt=\"1060951\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>6_11<\/strong><br \/>\nCarmen makes a suggestion:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2023\/6_11.jpg\" alt=\"1060956\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>6_12<\/strong><br \/>\nOn Friday I had another lens testing session with Eri, this time using an Olympus 1.8\/50mm lens on my Panasonic, of course wide open:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2023\/6_12.jpg\" alt=\"1060962\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>6_13<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2023\/6_13.jpg\" alt=\"1060967\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>6_14<\/strong><br \/>\nI finished the week with another bike ride Sunday morning, to Jijona, passing a large field of artichokes, just about the only real agriculture we have in the immediate vicinity:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2023\/6_14.jpg\" alt=\"1030074\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>6_15<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2023\/6_15.jpg\" alt=\"1030073\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>6_16<\/strong><br \/>\nAn almond tree by the side of the road.
