We had our department pre-summer break party on Wednesday evening, and at the weekend our friend I\u00c3\u00b1aki in Benidorm celebrated his 64th birthday with a poolside party.<\/p>\n<p><strong>27_1<\/strong><br \/>\nThe department dinner was at a small local marina, with a nice view illuminated by the setting sun:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2022\/27_1.jpg\" alt=\"DSF3205\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>27_2<\/strong><br \/>\nIn the hallway of the marina, a small display of the national-religious complex:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2022\/27_2.jpg\" alt=\"DSF3189\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>27_3<\/strong><br \/>\nStephanie fractured a bone in her arm a couple of weeks ago and so has been teleworking. She lives outside the city in a place with no public transport; she cannot drive right now, but she made sure that someone drove her to the dinner. I call this image Covid Chupito:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2022\/27_8.jpg\" alt=\"DSF3236\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>27_9<\/strong><br \/>\nAt the weekend we attended our friend I\u00c3\u00b1aki&#8217;s birthday party. He lives in Benidorm, around 45 km from here, and has a large garden with a pool and lots of space for frolicking.
