Immediately on arriving in the city we went for a brief walk before taking a taxi to the studios of French television where a 2-hour discussion program about the roundup of French Jews in 1942 was taking place, involving my uncle Joseph, historians, politicians etc. All prompted by the film <a href=\"http:\/\/www.larafle-lefilm.com\/\" onclick=\"_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'http:\/\/www.larafle-lefilm.com\/', 'La Rafle']);\" >La Rafle<\/a> which was released in France this week and which is based on my uncle&#8217;s story.<\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 4<\/em><br \/>\nSide street to Champs Elys\u00c3\u0192\u00c2\u00a9es:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2010\/9alt4.jpg\" alt=\"L1000474\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 5<\/em><br \/>\nCaf\u00c3\u0192\u00c2\u00a9 life continues even in the winter:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2010\/9alt5.jpg\" alt=\"L1000472\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 6<\/em><br \/>\nBloody Mary:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2010\/9alt6.jpg\" alt=\"L1000475\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 7<\/em><br \/>\nShop on Champs Elys\u00c3\u0192\u00c2\u00a9es.
