Those are the activities we always enjoy doing together. The pictures I show this week are mostly the product of those days.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main<\/strong><br \/>\nOne day we were sitting at a table on the Esplanada de Espa\u00c3\u0192\u00c2\u00b1a and noticed this family approaching:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2010\/3.jpg\" alt=\"L1000087\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nAlternates<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 1<\/em><br \/>\nThe dog was very lively:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2010\/3alt1.jpg\" alt=\"L1000088\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 2<\/em><br \/>\nLars is experimenting with a Lensbaby:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2010\/3alt2.jpg\" alt=\"L1000102\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 3<\/em><br \/>\nThis is the kind of scene we were photographing that day:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2010\/3alt3.jpg\" alt=\"L1000095\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 4<\/em><br \/>\nBut I am more at home on the street:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2010\/3alt4.jpg\" alt=\"L1000100\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 5<\/em><br \/>\nLars bakes delicious bread:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2010\/3alt5.jpg\" alt=\"L1000112\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 6<\/em><br \/>\nI even convinced him to make some special shapes:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2010\/3alt6.jpg\" alt=\"L1000118\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The last three pictures are from later in the week. Lars had left, and life was back to normal&#8211;too bad!<\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 7<\/em><br \/>\nMorning view from my office. The apartment buildings form the communities of Urbanova and Gran Alacant, with lots of British residents. Behind the peninsula is the town of Santa Pola. This image is a test shot as much as anything else; I was testing a 90mm Leica M lens on my new Panasonic GF-1 camera:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2010\/3alt7.jpg\" alt=\"_1000090\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 8<\/em><br \/>\nFriday afternoon the office arranged for a chestnut vendor, <em>casta\u00c3\u0192\u00c2\u00b1ero<\/em>, to offer us the roasted chestnuts on our back terrace:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2010\/3alt8.jpg\" alt=\"_1000105\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 9<\/em><br \/>\nSaturday afternoon on the beach in El Campello.
