Our gradual re-emergence continued this week, with a Friday lunch at Moments with some colleagues from work. Aside from that, the main event is that I received a new 10-24mm lens for my Fuji X cameras and had the opportunity to test it on my lovely colleague Eri and out on the beach–it passed with flying colours.<\/p>\n

\nOn Sunday my wife and I went again to the Plantio golf course to play a round, and we came across the same goose family that I photographed in week 14. The goslings have grown considerably during those 2 weeks:

\nMy wife approached the goose family to get some pictures with her phone, and Daddy Goose thought that she was getting too close–so he charged her, to my great amusement:

\nAfterwards, we went to lunch at the excellent and inexpensive restaurant at the golf course:

\nThroughout our lunch, we and other tables were being watched:

\nOnce people at the neighbouring table had left, the birdies took over:

\nAs I do every week, I continued to enjoy the magic light on the beach early in the morning:

\nIn mid-week, the 10-24mm lens I ordered for my Fuji X cameras arrived. That evening, Balu and his humans came to visit and the dog became my first test subject:

\nThe next day, in the office, I tested the lens on a much prettier subject, my favourite model Eri. It is not usual to test a wide angle lens on human subjects, but I think that it worked well even in this situation:

\nThe following morning it was raining. I stopped along the beach on my way to work to test the lens at 10mm. The absence of distortion is remarkable:

\nOn Friday, we had lunch at Moments. The “we” was the committee of our newly started art club at the office, of which I am part (I am the treasurer). And Eri is part of it too:

\nWe enjoyed our food, starting with a coca<\/em>, the local version of pizza, but thinner and more refined:

\nMidway through our lunch, this couple with a small dog arrived to provide us with some visual entertainment:

\nOn Saturday morning, I cycled as usual. The memorial for the motorcyclist who died here the week before is becoming more elaborate:

\nIn the centre of Busot, someone keeps a pretty white horse. I have thought of photographing it many times, but this time I stopped and did:
