My flight was around noon, so I had time for an early morning walk, also to get some caffeine into my body, since the hotel restaurant was closed due to Covid restrictions. Fortunately, there was a grocery store with takeaway coffee just 50 meters down the street. Thus fortified, I continued my walk, stopping at Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek which had a nice Rodin exhibition, sadly inaccessible due to the same restrictions that kept me from getting breakfast at the hotel:

14_2
I kept walking towards Christiansborg, a complex of buildings which houses the Danish parliament, the Supreme Court and the Queen’s reception rooms, so all 3 branches of government are represented. To get there, I crossed a canal on a small bridge called the Marble Bridge from which there is a nice view of the adjacent street:

14_3
The Royal Stables are also located in the area, on the back side of Christiansborg:

14_4
This is the front of Christiansborg, with the Parliament on the left, and further back the Supreme Court.
