And this year is strange since all events and meetings are online. Most of my photos are from morning walks and bike rides, although there is a bit of the office as well.

8_1
On Sunday morning I started the day with a walk on the beach, again taking my Leica 90mm lens out for a spin. I liked this scene with the colourful padel surfer against the blue/greyish sea and sky:

8_2
A family of three:

8_3
Looking for worms, presumably:

8_4
Later in the morning I cycled to Jijona, stopping to photograph this piece of wall art on a drab underpass:

8_5
In Jijona, I was surprised to see that the outdoor nativity scene was still there; in normal years it is taken down in mid-January. But I was quite pleased, because usually when I go there, the sun is shining brightly, creating ugly shadows and harsh highlights. This time it was overcast, so I had a nice giant softbox in the sky, and I took advantage of it:

8_6

8_7

8_8

8_9

8_10

8_11

8_12
Then, a few random images from my neighbourhood. It is usually a 2-day affair, held in the country that has the EU’s rotating presidency that half-year, which right now is Portugal. So if the damn virus had not imprisoned us, we would have been in Lisbon; instead, we were at our desks, looking at Zoom.
