So it is slim pickings this week, mainly from the office.<\/p>\n<p><strong>38_1<\/strong><br \/>\nOn Sunday, I did go on my usual bike ride, passing by the beach in El Campello. The effects of the storm the preceding week were still in evidence, but it did not stop people from enjoying the beach:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2019\/38_1.jpg\" alt=\"1150344\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>38_2<\/strong><br \/>\nAt home, my late mother&#8217;s cactus was flowering again:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2019\/38_2.jpg\" alt=\"1150350\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>38_3<\/strong><br \/>\nAt the office, the continuing demolition of the abandoned apartment building which we bought to add the land to our office campus remained a source of entertainment:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2019\/38_3.jpg\" alt=\"1150352\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>38_4<\/strong><br \/>\nA huge screen was placed to avoid too much dust blowing onto the street below:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2019\/38_4.jpg\" alt=\"1150356\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>38_5<\/strong><br \/>\nA closer view of the huge munching machines:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2019\/38_5.jpg\" alt=\"1150357\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As I write this in early October, the building is completely gone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The third week of September was very busy at work, and it was probably the week in 2019 during which I have taken the fewest pictures.
