I was banned from cycling this week due to a leg problem called Baker’s Cyst, something I had never heard of before, but I could certainly feel it. So my activity was limited to visiting the nearby mercadillo on Sunday, going down to the beach promenade, and celebrating my daughter’s birthday on Saturday night. <\/p>\n

\nOur Sunday open-air market has a small Belgian-style brocante<\/em> section with used goods ranging from antiques to junk, and one with food. I spend my money in the fruit and vegetables section, but for photos, the non-food section is quite interesting:

\nOn Saturday morning I had an errand in the centre of El Campello, and I walked around a bit, taking pictures of building details and wall art and graffiti. Here, a ship mosaic that celebrates the town’s origins as a fishing village:
