{"id":2368,"date":"2018-12-03T07:26:12","date_gmt":"2018-12-03T06:26:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fotocycle.dk\/paws\/?page_id=2368"},"modified":"2018-12-03T07:28:30","modified_gmt":"2018-12-03T06:28:30","slug":"week-47-van-gogh-alive-and-meandering-around-alicante","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.fotocycle.dk\/paws\/?page_id=2368","title":{"rendered":"Week 47: Van Gogh Alive and meandering around Alicante"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Not much happening this week, so the blog is shorter than usual.<\/p>\n<p><strong>47_1<\/strong><br \/>\nI went out for dinner one evening with a visiting economist from the OECD; the food at the restaurant C\u00c3\u00a9sar Anca was spectacular, both for the eyes and for the palate:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2018\/47_1.jpg\" alt=\"R004857\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>47_2<\/strong><br \/>\nOn Friday, Monica and I went to see a multimedia exhibition about Van Gogh&#8217;s life and art, called <a href=\"https:\/\/vangogh.es\/\" onclick=\"_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'https:\/\/vangogh.es\/', 'Van Gogh Alive']);\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Van Gogh Alive<\/a>:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2018\/47_2.jpg\" alt=\"DSF3314\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>47_3<\/strong><br \/>\nA recreation of Van Gogh&#8217;s painting of his bedroom in Arles:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2018\/47_3.jpg\" alt=\"DSF3315\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>47_4<\/strong><br \/>\nThe heart of the exhibition is a series of projections on big screens accompanied by music. Quite spectacular:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2018\/47_4.jpg\" alt=\"DSF3316\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>47_5<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2018\/47_5.jpg\" alt=\"DSF3319\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>47_6<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2018\/47_6.jpg\" alt=\"DSF3320\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>47_7<\/strong><br \/>\nAt the end of the exhibition there is a space for children to draw and display the results:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2018\/47_7.jpg\" alt=\"DSF3321\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>47_8<\/strong><br \/>\nAfterwards, we went for a drink at a nearby bar. We sat outside and enjoyed our drinks and the company:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2018\/47_8.jpg\" alt=\"DSF3323\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>47_9<\/strong><br \/>\nAt the weekend, I was out in the mountains on my bicycle as usual. An old, overpainted van in the middle of a field caught my eye:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2018\/47_9.jpg\" alt=\"R004861\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>47_10<\/strong><br \/>\nAs did this headless statue near Agost:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2018\/47_10.jpg\" alt=\"R004863\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>47_11<\/strong><br \/>\nA utility box in Aig\u00c3\u00bces has been made to look a lot more interesting than the previous dull grey:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2018\/47_11.jpg\" alt=\"R004864\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>47_12<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2018\/47_12.jpg\" alt=\"R004867\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>47_13<\/strong><br \/>\nA couple of images from the beach, but at the end of the day rather than at sunrise.
