The seafood counters at the local supermarkets continue to impress me, even though I have lived here for more than 10 years now. The selection, the reasonable prices, the quality…it is all there. And the little labels contain information on where the fish was caught (if wild) or farmed, when it was landed, etc. I eat fish almost every day, sometimes both lunch and dinner:

5_2
Then a couple of sushi pictures from our local sushi restaurant, where we treat ourselves to an occasional lunch on weekends. The quality is really quite good; surely not up to Tokyo or San Francisco standards, but it has the advantage of being 5 minutes from our place:

5_3

5_4
The week started with a day and night of hard rain. Here in Alicante we did not get any snow or freezing weather, but on Friday, at the office, we were admiring the snow-covered mountains in the distance. On Saturday, I drove along the beach to take some pictures.
