My 11-year old daughter has long, beautiful hair which, however, requires lots of maintenance:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/13.jpg\" alt=\"3367\" \/><br \/>\n<em>(Canon 1D Mark II, 24-70mm L Canon, ISO 1250)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Then on to Amsterdam. On Sunday the 26th March I met up with a couple of other local members of the Leica Users Group to see the Cartier-Bresson exhibition at the FOAM gallery on Keizersgracht. Here is one of them, Bruce, obviously inspired by the images on the walls:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/13alt1.jpg\" alt=\"3301\" \/><br \/>\n<em>(Canon 1D Mark II, 35mm L Canon, ISO 400)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Here is a couple at the exhibition, looking at the images on display with great concentration:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/13alt2.jpg\" alt=\"3304\" \/><br \/>\n<em>(Canon 1D Mark II, 35mm L Canon, ISO 640)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>We followed the exhibition by having lunch in an Italian restaurant on nearby Rembrandtplein. The weather was nice, so we could sit outside and watch the human traffic on the square, including this little girl watching a puppeteer perform:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/13alt3.jpg\" alt=\"3318\" \/><br \/>\n<em>(Canon 1D Mark II, 24-70mm L Canon, ISO 100)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A few minutes later, while the performer was doing the rounds of the tables to collect money, the little girl summoned her courage and went to have a closer look at the puppets:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/13alt4.jpg\" alt=\"3324\" \/><br \/>\n<em>(Canon 1D Mark II, 24-70mm L Canon, ISO 100)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The final two images are from the best-known beach in the Netherlands, Scheveningen in The Hague. It was cold and windy and not exactly beach weather, but a few people were still out and about.
