I spent the week with my sister in Wroc\u00c3\u2026\u00e2\u20ac\u0161aw, Poland, with a short trip to Berlin (only 350 km away) thrown in. The pictures I show here are little snippets that I like (otherwise I would not be showing them, of course) but that for one reason or another will not be included in the larger galleries I will create later.<\/p>\n<p>We start with some women.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main<\/strong><br \/>\nLike every civilised city on the planet, Wroc\u00c3\u2026\u00e2\u20ac\u0161aw has several Irish pubs. I went to the one on Plac Solny a few times to watch English football and drink Guinness. Plus, the girl in the bar was extremely cute:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2008\/53.jpg\" alt=\"L1000666\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nThe alternates<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 1<\/em><br \/>\nIn Berlin, we went to drink coffee at a cafe near our hotel. The waitress turned out to be Polish, so my brother-in-law immediately started sweet-talking her:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2008\/53alt1.jpg\" alt=\"L1000856\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 2<\/em><br \/>\nBack in Wroc\u00c3\u2026\u00e2\u20ac\u0161aw, just a pretty girl on the street:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2008\/53alt2.jpg\" alt=\"L1000952\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 3<\/em><br \/>\nThere is a beautifully lighted tree on Ulica (street) O\u00c3\u2026\u00e2\u20ac\u0161awska in the centre of Wroc\u00c3\u2026\u00e2\u20ac\u0161aw, and lots of people photograph each other in front of it. Here three girls are chimping together:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2008\/53alt3.jpg\" alt=\"L1001142\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 4<\/em><br \/>\nTwo women from different worlds:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2008\/53alt4.jpg\" alt=\"L1001196\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then a couple of doggies.<\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 5<\/em><br \/>\nMy sister&#8217;s neighbour&#8217;s dog has her period and wears specially designed underwear (designed by my sister) with a sanitary pad inside:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2008\/53alt5.jpg\" alt=\"L1000977\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 6<\/em><br \/>\nWaiting outside the neighbourhood supermarket:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2008\/53alt6.jpg\" alt=\"L1001088\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 7<\/em><br \/>\nAnother snippet from Berlin. The streamer says &#8220;No airbag, we die like men&#8221;. One of the more stupid slogans I have ever seen:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2008\/53alt7.jpg\" alt=\"L1000864\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 8<\/em><br \/>\nSmoking area outside a Wroc\u00c3\u2026\u00e2\u20ac\u0161aw bookshop. The saint looks on disapprovingly:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2008\/53alt8.jpg\" alt=\"L1000944\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 9<\/em><br \/>\nGate to the residence of the Archbishop of Wroc\u00c3\u2026\u00e2\u20ac\u0161aw, Ostr\u00c3\u0192\u00c2\u00b3w Tumski:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2008\/53alt9.jpg\" alt=\"L1001079\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Alternate 10<\/em><br \/>\nDuring this trip, I have put my M8 on a tripod a few times, highly unusual for me.
