\nThe alternates<\/strong>:<\/p>\n
\nThis is the Muchavista beach, 800 metres from my house. We went to walk our dog there:

\nThe sign did not seem to matter much, neither for Monica nor for Cheeta:

\nBesides being a great photographer, my friend Lars is also an excellent cook. His services were duly enlisted:

\nTo get to Valencia from Alicante, we took the old road, N332. It took us about 4 1\/2 hours to cover the 175 km, because there were many interesting things to photograph along the way. Near the town of Calpe, we saw this impressive, new Russian Orthodox church, a sign of Russian money, most of it earned in various dodgy ways, having made its way to Spain:

\nOf course, this little girl is presumably not aware of the origin of the money that paid for the church:

\nJust outside Valencia, we passed the rice fields where the rice for the local specialty, paella, is grown:

\nOnce arrived in Valencia, we had lunch (paella, of course) at a beachside restaurant while enjoying the views:

\nThen we walked around the old part of Valencia:
