My wife is visiting our son in the US, so I am alone here with the dog and the cat. Hence, all the pictures are from walking Cheeta and from my weekend cycling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8_1<\/strong><br \/>\nRecently a series of billboards with the slogan &#8220;You see me!&#8221; have appeared. I am not sure whether what is being advertised is the billboard itself or whether this is a build-up to some product or service launch:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2014\/8_1.jpg\" alt=\"L1010496\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>8_2<\/strong><br \/>\nIntruder in our swimming pool. I sometimes send Cheeta to scare them away, but the problem is that they usually take a dump just before flying away in order to lighten their take-off weight. So perhaps it is better to just let them swim around for a while:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2014\/8_2.jpg\" alt=\"L1010504\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>8_3<\/strong><br \/>\nEvery morning, when walking Cheeta, I take some cat food with me for the cats living on the golf course, near the entrance to our subdivision. Here is one of my &#8220;customers&#8221; waiting for me:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2014\/8_3.jpg\" alt=\"L1010500\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>8_4<\/strong><br \/>\nAnother one looks cautiously at me and Cheeta from his high perch:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2014\/8_4.jpg\" alt=\"L1010524\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>8_5<\/strong><br \/>\nYet another one coming over. The gate is the entrance to our subdivision:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2014\/8_5.jpg\" alt=\"L1010525\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>8_6<\/strong><br \/>\nAll together, eating what I put out for them:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2014\/8_6.jpg\" alt=\"L1010528\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>8_7<\/strong><br \/>\nThis cat does not need to scavenge on the golf course. He is Taco, the prince of cats, ruler of the Wajsman household:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2014\/8_7.jpg\" alt=\"L1010502\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>8_8<\/strong><br \/>\nOne of my favourite cycling roads. On the left is the hilltop village of Busot:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2014\/8_8.jpg\" alt=\"_1010588\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>8_9<\/strong><br \/>\nBroken lamp on the square in Aig\u00c3\u00bces. I don&#8217;t know if is the result of a stray football (children usually play on the square), or the windstorm we had last week:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2014\/8_9.jpg\" alt=\"_1010585\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>8_10<\/strong><br \/>\nOn Saturday afternoon I went for a walk in the fishing harbour of El Campello:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2014\/8_10.jpg\" alt=\"L1010517\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>8_11<\/strong><br \/>\nOne of the many cats living in the harbour:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2014\/8_11.jpg\" alt=\"L1010514\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>8_12<\/strong><br \/>\nTeaching a child to fish:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2014\/8_12.jpg\" alt=\"L1010509\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>8_13<\/strong><br \/>\nA somewhat insecure skater; she is wise to keep at a safe distance from the edge:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"uploads\/2014\/8_13.jpg\" alt=\"L1010518\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This past week was more about work and looking after the pets than about photography.
