It was a week with much work and very little photography. Until finally Friday arrived, and in the evening we had some good Catalan food. And on Saturday a visit, organised by our office wine club Bacchus, to Bodega Luz\u00c3\u00b3n<\/a> in the town of Jumilla in the Murcia region. We were about 40-50 people. As usual, we met at the office at 9:30 and travelled to the bodega in a chartered bus. This has many advantages, not least that afterwards, there is time to sober up on the bus on the way back before having to drive home from the office.<\/p>\n

\nFirst Friday night–we were invited to an evening of Catalan embutidos<\/em> and cheeses. They tasted as good as they looked:

\nThe bodega shop. The wine was good, and the young red was inexpensive, so we bought a total of 18 bottles:

\nAfter the bodega visit, we went for a long lunch in a restaurant in the centre of Jumilla. The street where the restaurant was located was impossible to get to by bus, so we had to walk for a few minutes. A good thing, as it also allowed me to look at small details like this faded sign:

\nThe lunch went on for 3-4 hours, so I had plenty of time to wander around in the building and explore:
